The deliberate consideration of the surrounding mountain landscape as well as the proper handling of the existing building were central topics when planning the storey-addition for a hotel in Tyrol.
The addition was expected to remain true to the romantic style of the building while creating new opportunities for innovative design.
The conscious examination of a wide range of impacting factors guided the realization.
Consequently, the construction implements a holistic concept that is characterized by the extensive use of natural materials.
The additional storey embeds itself both freely and subordinate into the overall structure of the hotel with a harmonious blend of the hotel’s traditional style and new, innovative design approaches.
The result is an exclusive apartment with a pleasant living atmosphere in harmony with nature.
