English description provided by the architects.

Rosan Bosch Studio developed a comprehensive learning masterplan for a 60-acre campus with 70,000 sqm of interior learning spaces for KIS International School Reignwood Park, situated in Pathum Thani just outside Bangkok, Thailand.

The project fosters a strong sense of belonging and offers imaginative, inspiring learning environments for age-specific communities of learners.

Across seven buildings, the learning environment is carefully organized around a series of flourishing gardens, each themed for different age groups. Together, the gardens form a learning journey that reflects the cycle of growth: from harmony to discovery, wonder, and synergy.

Throughout the campus, the relationship between interior and exterior spaces encourages movement, exploration, and sensory engagement. The architecture creates opportunities for students to move, explore, and interact with their surroundings.

When entering KIS International School Reignwood Park, a spacious and intriguing world for sensory learning unfolds.

Inspired by the remarkable lotus wetlands, the reception area – the Garden of Harmony – creates a welcoming atmosphere of openness and balance. A large staircase acts as both a visual centerpiece and a gathering point where students and parents assemble and interact.

From this central point, the school unfolds as a sequence of gardens that reflect the developmental journey of learning.

The Garden of Discovery welcomes the youngest learners. Here, spaces are designed to stimulate curiosity and exploration through a close relationship between the interior learning environments and the surrounding gardens.

The building is designed to create protected outdoor courtyards where children can move freely between indoor and outdoor environments.

Breakout spaces, playful details, and carefully scaled design elements invite children to explore their surroundings and feel a sense of ownership over their learning environment.

As students grow, they enter the Garden of Wonder for the primary years. At this stage of learning, curiosity expands into exploration and inquiry. The spatial organization reflects this transition by creating environments that encourage collaboration and interaction.

The Garden of Energy provides an expansive sports environment that supports physical activity as an essential part of learning and well-being.

The sports facilities include areas for gymnastics, swimming, running, and training, as well as a distinctive climbing wall designed with a playful elephant-inspired form.

These shared facilities encourage students across age groups to stay active and connect through movement.

The Garden of Synergy supports middle years and career-related programs, where learning becomes increasingly interdisciplinary.

Science, robotics, and innovation facilities combine with open breakout areas, transparent walls, and flexible workspaces that encourage collaboration and knowledge sharing. The environment supports students connecting ideas across subjects and learning from one another.

The learning journey concludes in the Garden of Light and Shadow, which frames the campus's 1,000-seat auditorium. Inspired by the interplay of light, mist, rain, and shadow, the auditorium creates an immersive atmosphere for concerts, performances, exhibitions, and cultural events.

Together, the gardens form a cohesive educational landscape where architecture, pedagogy, movement, and community are interconnected. The learning environment supports curiosity, collaboration, and creativity at every stage, empowering students to understand not only what they learn, but how they learn.
